Stage 4
Incursions and excursions for Year 7 and 8 students.
Landforms and landscapes
In this Stage 4 geography program students explore the Warrumbungle National Park’s Grand High Tops, Split Rock or Gould's Circuit landscapes and landforms over one or two days.
They explain the processes that created this unique landscape and they describe the value of the WNP to different people. Students examine issues of landscape degradation and ways to manage and protect landscapes and landforms. Students also investigate a natural hazard associated with the WNP and people’s responses to that hazard.
