Students examine insect adaptations in a woodland ecosystem.
They conduct a bug hunt in the Warrumbungle National Park and using microscopes (digital and light) students use iPads to write an e-book about adaptations of invertebrates.
Students learn how to complete a scientific drawing using a digital drawing app on the iPad and also hand drawing.
Students take home their scientific artwork for show and tell.
