Teddy bears picnic

Teddy Bears Picnic - needs of living things. A program for Kindergarten only students covers science and geography in a fun way.

This special program focuses on the needs of living things:

  • air
  • water
  • shelter
  • food.

Students and their teddies participate in a number of activities including an earth walk, habitat games, story time and an amazing picnic in the bush with their favourite teddy.

Teddy Bears Picnic program cost

$10 per student (GST free) + $1.10 for Warrumbungle National Park day entry

Non-DET Schools $15 per student (GST free) + $1.10 for Warrumbungle National Park day entry

Risk Assessment 

The children bring their favourite teddy or stuffed toy from home.
Image: If you don't own a teddy, any favourite stuffed animal is welcome.
After walking the nature trail, students picnic with their teddies at the Canyon Picnic area.
