Stage 1 HSIE – geography

Warrumbungle National Park – Camp Blackman Camping Area and Nature Trail Canyon Bush Walk

Students through inquiry solidify their understanding of the importance of outdoor places to people and communication of geographical information and use of geographical tools

Key questions answered are:

  • What are the features of this rural place?
  • How are people connected to this place?
  • How do Aboriginal Peoples use Knowledge of Country in everyday life?
  • How can we care for places?

People and Places worksheets  Please print out a copy for each student. Print on both sides and choose 'flip on short edge', then fold in half.
